A recent study found that climate change will increase the rate of wildlife losses by five times without purposeful intervention.
Australia already has the worst rate of mammal extinctions in the world, with over 30 species lost since European settlement. We must take immediate action to save threatened species, like the Spectacled Hare-wallaby, from extinction.
The latest IPCC report has made it clear, ‘human influence’ has caused this crisis, and it’s only us that can stop it. But we must act now.
